The WebPixie’s Weblog chronicles her adventure into learning how to develop and produce a podcast.  Her background is in a variety of technical environments, just none that included podcasting.  

Her goal of producing a podcast seems like an achievable one with the combination of experience she can draw upon, particularly her work integrating evolving technology into a variety of other technical environments.  Nevertheless, her work in biochemical & neurochemical research, clinical laboratory diagnostics, food processing evaluation & inspection, and environmental public health doesn’t present many podcast topics of general interest.  

One aspect common to these work environments could provide topics interesting enough for a podcast.

How people relate to each other on the job varies in specifics but shares many generalities.  Those issues will be the topics covered on the podcast.  The podcast’s target audience will be people working in non-managerial jobs with no more than 3 years with their current employer.

With the topic and the target audience identified, now the adventure begins!

Update:  The joy of an adventure is often discovering new paths.  Paths may change, but the destination is usually the same.  In this case, the destination is still producing a podcast but I’ve become open to considering a different topic.

So the adventure continues!
